Introducing Buddhism
Acknowledged for communicating with surrounding countries, Prince Shotoku introduced Buddhism to Japan, which originated from China. He was inspired by his father and great uncle to spread Buddhism. He was so obligated by the religion that he had temples built in it’s honor (46 temples). Buddhism eventually caught on to be one of the biggest religious belief in the world.
